Positive & professional headshots for regional business press
In addition to a couple of different staff groups specifically for use in a business article, the client also wanted headshots of some of their staff.
Using an out of the way corridor area, a portable studio setup and a white background to quickly create some positive, bright and professional headshots suitable for use in regional business press and their company PR material with minimal fuss and interuption to the working day.
Colour images can be converted into black and white (B&W) or additional retouching for additional effects is also something worth considering depending on the look and uses that the client has in mind. B&W conversion and retouching can easily be done after even if not originally planned. As well as retouching images myself I work with a small team of very experienced retouchers who can work on my images.
Below are a couple of examples of what is possible for the same image originally shot in colour. First is a simple conversion to B&W and in the second is a higher contrast treatment with with the addion of selective blurring of areas to maximise the focus on the eyes in the portrait.
